Elizabeth Hopkinson, from the 2023-24 cohort for the MPhil in Health, Medicine and Society, recently published an article on the anthropology magazine ‘Sapiens’ detailing a day researching her dissertation.
Hopkinson’s thesis, titled ‘Mornings at the lido: An ethnography of feeling good’, explored the physical and mental health benefits of cold-water swimming.
